Tuesday Teleseminars commence

Jenny Bourne - Tuesday, April 15, 2008
Commenicng this Tuesday will be Teleseminars on First Aid topics and how to prevent the injury or situation that may need First Aid treatment.

As the weather is commencing to get cooler and the heaters are being brought for the first time this winter, we all need to take care to ensure they are safe to use. The electric heater elements need to be clean and the electric cable to be intact with no frayed sections. Whenin use to be kept away from small children who have yet to learn about hot thing s and being burnt. This weeks topic is Burns and what to do when someone is burnt. What you can do to prevent them being burnt and what you can do to reduce the damage from a burn in the first few minutes following the burn.

Although we may be feeling scared and not want to be part of the response to the burn, we can help people by remaiing calm and getting help for them as qucikly as possible. If you have any questions please add them to the FAQ page and we will endeavour to answer them for you on the teleseminar. By signing up to the monthly newsletter you will be forwarded the teleseminar number and access code and instructions on how to get the most out of the session. We look forward to talking with you on Tuesday evening.
